David Harris, Managing Partner of DPH Legal discussed the changes to the furlough scheme from 1 September on BBC Radio Berkshire with Phil Kennedy. The changes include:
 
Employers now have to pay up to 10% of employees’ salary plus NIC and pension contributions.

From 1 October 2020 employers will have to pay up to 20% of employees’ salaries, and the scheme will end at the end of October.
