Stevyn Jackson – Personal Biography

Stevyn studied law at Birmingham University and subsequently attended the College of Law.

Stevyn worked at a well-known law firm on the Strand. Thereafter he became a Partner at a leading firm of solicitors in Oxford, before moving to Henley on Thames where he practised before joining DPH Legal.

Stevyn has a wealth of experience with extensive knowledge of employment law matters and contested litigation arising from employment disputes in other courts. His breadth of experience includes a range of breach of contract claims and injunctions arising from breaches of restrictive covenants.

Stevyn has successfully concluded race and disability discrimination claims in the Employment Tribunal recovering damages in excess of £100,000 on behalf of several clients.

Acting for employers, Stevyn has successfully defended both unfair dismissals, and constructive dismissal claims as well as claims relating to all forms of discrimination.

Stevyn’s expertise ranges across employment law, corporate law and commercial litigation. He has advised on and drafted shareholder agreements for directors and companies and he has frequently been involved in litigation in the High Court.

In his spare time, Stevyn is a keen tennis and cricket player. He was formally the chairperson of a leading Oxfordshire cricket club, and he enjoys collecting items of sporting memorabilia. Stevyn also likes to travel to faraway foreign places with historical significance.

Stevyn is a fluent German speaker.

He is often seen out and about networking which he enjoys doing.
